Due to the State Program "On the Development of Library-Information Sphere of the Azerbaijan Republic in 2008-2013" approved by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on October 6, 2008, a website of the library (http://www.masalli-mks.az) supplied with the Library-Information System of the Central Library System of Masally region has been prepared with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The presentation ceremony of a new website of the Central Library of Masally region, e-catalog and e-library was held in the said library. A chief of the Sector of Library Work of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism Latifa Mammadova addressed the ceremony and noted that the State Program on the Library-Information Sphere had been realized successfully and the fund of libraries had been enriched for this purpose and that the Automated Library-Information System had been installed in the town and region libraries. A chief of Culture and Tourism Department of Masally region Latifa Movsumova spoke about significance of creation of a website of the region's Central Library for the first time in cultural field. In his speech, the deputy head of Masally region Executive Board N. Mukhtarov regarded the state care for culture, libraries and noted that it was worth of note. He said that libraries had played big role in the formation of intellectual potential of Azerbaijani people.
